I played around with replacing the - and # characters some.
Can't suggest for certain what I like best In their place, but for non text hacks (silly graphic effects), some variations I've tried are '.' vs '*'
and dark grey versus red ansi character 255 (a square with spare on all sides).
Maybe a toggle between some of those modes would be nice.

Anyone have some enhancement requests? Other than adding support for a virtual accelerometer and a virtual Zigbee -- i already know those would be cool.
