• csv2xml marked "Stable"

  Now with over 6000 downloads, and no bug requests or issues for over 2 years, csv2xml is now being marked as "Production/Stable". Although the code has not been modified for over 2 years, this project is not dead. Its just an indication that the software does what is needed and no changes are required at this time.

• csv2xml 0.6 file released: csv2xml-0.6.tar.bz2

  csv2xml Change Log Changes in version 0.6 - James Roper contriutes a patch to allow replacing of unicode characters. Changes in version 0.5.2 - Fixed buffer overflow vulnerability. (A big enough problem to result in this new release. Changes in version 0.5.1 - A bug was found whereby if a 0 length string was escaped/quoted the parser would run-away past the end quote. - Added the `-n' option. • Announcing csv2xml 0.6

  csv2xml is a csv to xml converter, simple eh! This release contains two main improvements. 1) Escaped quotes in quoted fields now handled correctly. 2) You can now strip special characters, replacing them with another character.
