Hi,
currently the engine is under GPL which means that it cannot used in a commercial closed-code learning management system, isn't it?
We are thinking to use the engine in our product, is there the possibility to change the licence model to LPGL? Which means we can use it as it s in our software with copyright notices?
kind regards
Jens.

I'm unable to get participant, manager, moderator values from CC for a conference, When obtaining the environment data using engine.getEnvironmentTree(String[]), for example
I have a Uol which describes the following conference. The conference needs to know which roles the users are allocated against, so that the teacher user for example can delete threads in a forum.

When requesting the environment data at runtime from CopperCore - two types of object found within an environment have the parameters attribute missing. (They also appear to be missing in the publication database

When creating (new) occurrences (instances) of the roles (as allowed by the create-new argument of the IMSLD role element), Coppercore does not use always (when interpreting the UoL) the new identifier of roles (but the original identifier, org-identifier) what implies that different occurrences of roles are treated as the same one.

I'm currently working on the iClass Project (http://www.iclass.info/) which will use Coppercore. Actually I've used the CopperCore Sources and set up a Maven 2 (http://maven.apache.org/) Project hierarchy to build CopperCore from scratch and deploy it into JBoss Application Server. Is there any interest to use the Maven hierarchy in future releases of CopperCore? Please contact me at richter...

Not every linux distro will have konsole installed.
coppercore.sh should be written to allow startup without konsole.
Simply
# Launch JBoss
"$DIRNAME/jboss-3.2.6/bin/run.sh" $*.
