ConquestWebView is a web based dicom viewer for the conquest dicom server application available from http://www.xs4all.nl/~ingenium/dicom.html. The project is written in PHP and Flex. Note that the system converts DICOM images to JPG before display.
This application has great potential. Very nice User Interface. We liked it so much we have decided to become developers and help out.
The user interface has a nice, polished look. Definitely worth trying. Adding a zoom feature for the viewer would be a big improvement. Note that you must use jpeg compression on conquest server (.dcm) not nki (.v2) for this to work. Will show icon for only 1 series. Works well if all images in one series. If you have let say 1 CR image per series and 6 images in a study you have to go back to the list and choose next series 6 times for one study. To be able to see icons for each series of a study in the viewer would make image browsing much easier. It is a lot of work involved to achieve this. But even at the current state this viewer is very usable especially for an emergency diagnosis using any PC you have access to (library, your friend's or in a hotel).
