Hi,
Has anyone characterized the real-time performance (e.g., end-to-end latency time) of this algorithm/code for panoramic-image stitching?
Thanks.

btw, I am using videorbits-2.205.
I was able to use sample images v04.pgm and v06.pgm as input files through the whole tool-chain without any problems.

Hi,
I created two input image files: uf1.pgm and uf2.pgm. Both are of size 300x191. However, estpchirp2m seg-faults. See output below. Please advise.
Thanks!
No lookup table given. Using DEFAULT
input file 1 = ../images/uf1.pgm input file 2 = ../images/uf2.pgm
magic number = 5

I just wanted to report that comparagram.h is missing
from gunroll/src on the latest version (0.101).
It shows as a compile error when "make" is run.

Hi,
Sorry about the delay,
Orbits will calculate parameters between pairs of images. Successive image pairs are the most common, however, often, you may want to compare image 1 to 3, then 1 to 4 and so on (so long as there is sufficent overlap). The shell scripts might have to be tweaked slightly to do this.
Hope this helps.

I noticed in the README file it was mentioned that Version 2 might include improved error reduction for video where there is overlap between non-consecutive frames--e.g. for a "looped" video where the last frame overlaps with the first.
I have downloaded videorbits-2.203 and am hoping to use it in an application where the camera follows a moving object, and then returns to the...

Hi James,
thanks for the prompt and helpful response. I have edited the makefile and got it to call UWIN cc. Hurdle #3= configuring the compiler correctly as it is now spitting errors at me... so making progress. I will check UWIN docs and may need to post on their list to get help setting up the Borland compiler.
I will keep you posted on my progress...

There's an autoconf macro which is being called to check the compiler. I'm sure you can find out the particulars of this
macro on the web - obviously its quite common.
However, hacking configure scripts can be tricky, so
what i'd suggest is you take a makefile, and just
edit it by hand to fit your uwin configuration.
I've included below old makefiles from videorbits for you
to look...
