I am the new administrator of Chronogears. J-F is pursuing a new interest and has kindly allowed me to adopt this project. Expect some rapid development over the new few weeks and months. I am using Chronogears as the sprite engine in project called Freeplay (but that is another story), and will add features as I need them. Already implemented but not yet released is a mouse event handler and a low level sprite editor panel. James
Alright! With the latest release (a2), there is a functional applet demonstrating a scrolling tilemap. To execute the demo, run the appletviewer with the file /classes/imagetest.html. Note that you need Java 2. This is why I recommend the applet viewer for now. Enjoy! J-F
A new update has been posted. Please note that I'm aiming towards completing the property APIs asap so I can activly start with the scripting APIs. Enjoy! J-F
The first upload of the Chronogears source code is complete. The source code has not yet been cleaned up. However, there is a small test demonstating a scrolling tile map with a text sprite. J-F
