I had this problem too. The solution is to run checkgmail with the [code]-no-login[/code] command line flag.

Running Ubuntu 9.10. App was working fine after upgrading. Now, I can't delete, mark read, report spam, etc.
Any ideas? Possible permissions issue?.

Firefox does not show the 'keep me signed in' tick and i have to clic the 'connect' button every time i open a mail from checkgmail. any idea to automatically redirectme to the mail? i used checkgmail 2 years ago and it worked fine.

This fixes a problem with certain multiple monitor configurations. I have a dual-monitor setup with my primary monitor to the right. In this case, the popup window gets displayed with the wrong x-position, very far to the left of where it should be.

For example, after the recent 401 Aunauthorized issues were fixed.
This is so distributions can feel free to upgrade to the latest (working) version.

Hi all,
I've updated checkgmail to the latest version as of today (28/11/2009) with
/usr/bin/checkgmail -update
But still when I left click on the icon Firefox opens (or opens a new tab) and takes me to the login page of gmail (with the username already set). This was not the usual behaviour, as I don't wanna login everytime I left click checkgmail.
So I tried the -no-login option...

As you I've got more accounts, so I manage the connection with gmail manger in Firefox but this is not a solution.
