I'm wondering if anyone actually did this. I'm not sure if this project was really abandoned but according to the main page of the author I don't think he really had time to look for this project (and probably won't in the near future..), see (in german) http://zach.in.tu-clausthal.de

It works partially for me using XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 chbg
but the picture is deleted when I move windows on Nautilus.
