  Chat5 0.2 is under developement and will be released within a month or two. This completely rebuilt version will include: - New XMLHttpRequest-driven interaction to stop the page from blinking - Smilies - Image support - Several other minor additions - Completely restructured code

  Two days after the first release, I realized there was a small error in the installer. This release fixes that problem.

  This is the first public Chat5 release. Chat5 is a brand new web chat program written completely in PHP and MySQL that requires no additional software to run on the server. Please provide feedback in the discussion forums. The Chat5 web page is under construction. Screenshots, info and more coming soon.
