OK I will check this out. FYI for whoever else comes across this thread I tried the branch from chan-sccp.org and was able to get it to build, but was never able to get it to work. In addition there were certain key sequencees (don't remember them now) that were able to crash the asterisk server. I will post back here if I have any issues with trunk referenced here.

Updated sccp_pbx.c source in trunk to be able to cope with AST_CONTROL_T38 and AST_CONTROL_T38_PARAMETERS.
Please check out the latest version from trunk to give it a try

There is a simple solution - Digium, in their infinite wisdom, changed `AST_CONTROL_T38` to `AST_CONTROL_T38_PARAMETERS` some time in 1.6.0.
If you want to fix it, I have a quick mofication that you can make to your code here on my blog:
