ch0 c-h-zero the chess engine!!! How well is it possible for your processor(s) to play chess? How well is it possible for someone AND your processor(s) to play chess? Would they let it fly, or manage it actively?--> Let's evolve !!!

This is a pre-alpha release (due to porting it here from Turbo-C to a fairly generic C tested on dev-c++/mingw/gcc ), key parts are known broken even though it will compile. NEEDED: Time control -- it used to use date control also, in order to handle midnight, but that might not be needed anymore. The ch0 ball is rolling !!!
As it is set up, it is playing itself. It was playing itself tolerably well on an AT, compiled with Turbo-C. Now it is missing the time and date functions and declarations because what it had was not portable. Once that is back, it should approximately slice-and-dice. Recently, when it compiled last, a couple of years ago, it was paranoid (which is very difficult to deal with), and thinks it can swap kings (no matter how valuable, an even swap is no problem, right?). Participation is actively solicited.
