it was found that cecilia creates a tempfile in an insecure manner. The CVE is at
http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2008-1832
You can find a patch for this issue in the Debian bug report.

I installed Cecilia as the administrator, and tried to
run it as another user (with less rights for security
reasons), but got an error message that a file could not
be opened, probably because I don't have write access
on the file when I'm logged in as the other user.

When I try to quit Cecilia, I get an error message
saying that the application could not change the
directory to C:/WINDOWS/Desktop. Clicking on Ok leaves
the application open. This happens when I try to quit
the application with Ctrl-Q, File->Quit and the cross
on the right top.
Here is the stack trace:
couldn't change working directory to "C:/WINDOWS/Desktop": no such file or...

I installed Cecilia in the folder
c:\Program Files\Cecilia, but when I start it up, I get
an error message saying that an image file in
c:\cecilia couldn't be found. After clicking Ok, the
application ended.
I now installed it it c:\cecilia and it works, but I
prefer to install my applications under
c:\Program Files\.
