Mercury new uses (and requires) KDE3. Video Editing and converting added in VideoCD using the "transcode"-package. The package Transcode and MJEPG-Tools have to be installed on your system, if you want to use mercury for video-dc authoring. Now it's possible to change between VCD/SVCD. Experimental DVD Ripping project. Not yet finished our usable on productiv system but will give you a look to future funcions of mercury.
The project didn't really stops. The next version of mercury will link agains KDE3.x. I choosed to use some time to great a little bit of reengineering which needs time.. The problem is that my privat and professional situation don't allow me so many time at that moment. But development will continue, but in smaller steps at that moment.
0.1.5 - Little Bug in Converting Routines MP3->WAV. Call of Shell-command don't have work when the MP3-filename using whitespaces. Bug is fixed
0.1.4 - new functions for converting file-formats. Now it is possible to burn MP3-files to audio CD's MP3 would be automatically converted to Wav before burning. Using the MPG123 shell-tool as default. But conversion uses a config-file in mercury/config/ where user can programm their own shell-commands to be used for converting from one mimetype to another ! (Maybe a editor wil follow sometimes) Functions for autoconverting just work on Audio-CD-Projects in this version. Others CD-project like Video-CD will follow next time.
