What's happening?

  • Crashing when ripping.

CDDA Ripper XP, no longer works, after sp3 installation. When it is ripping, it's just crashing. My system is win xp sp3 pro Eng. x86.

  • Track Titles should not contain artist

When you rip a compilation album you often get Various in the artist field of every track and the real name of the artist in the title of the track. Please change it so that each track will show the correct artist with compilations.

  • Errors with cddb lookup data

Invalid characters are not stripped out of the album field when writing files and making directories. Program crashes if an album is not found in the database. Examples - very old CDs (circa 1984) that haven't been added .

  • Comment: Cant open encode .WAV file

Hi all, attached a small wav file in 5 pieces. I guess you dont need any more than 1 of them, but i added them just in case. Attaching worked fine once i finally got the error message correctly that i couldnt upload anything more than 200k or so! cheers, sean.

Trying to attach a smaller wav file. This wav file was generated as specified earlier using coolplayer wav file writer. I have stopped it short so that the wav file size is small enough to attach here (so other converters will probably still think it is a full 4 minute song and create a full 5 meg MP3 file..... but they will create it nonetheless. That is of course not what i am testing for.
