CDCollect is a CD/DVD catalog application for gnome. It's goal is to be able to catalog your entire CD/DVD collection allowing for searches of your CD/DVD files with a clean and simple interface.

Decent software, unfortunately it's no longer being developed . Program does not run on systems with newer mono. The way around it is to run mono --runtime=v2.0.50727 /usr/bin/cdcollect.exe

cd-dvd-lock
This is a small program that can be used to lock or unlock the CD/DVD tray. It is extremely usable, when someone is playing with your CD/DVD and you cant tell him to stop (like your little kid :) )
