As of 2009-03-03 0:00:00 GMT, this project may now be found at http://code.google.com/p/cantera.
Cantera is a suite of object-oriented software tools for problems involving chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and/or transport processes. It can be used from MATLAB, Python, C++, or Fortran.
Very good code, exceptional what you can do with this software. BUT documentation is rare. A proper manual, even a list of classes or functions would be very helpful. Best strategy for now is to look at the examples and tutorials how things are done. Also the pydoc command comes in Handy. The installation can be tiresome. I had to install python, nummaray package, matplotlib, Sundials, Tcl, graphviz to use cantera on my Linux.
Very good, used it for my master thesis. Although i wished there was a proper manual for it. Maybe just an overview of all the functions that can be used. Especially the documentation with Matlab is absent.
