CamStudio is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files and using its built-in SWF Producer can turn those AVIs into lean, mean, bandwidth-friendly Streaming Flash videos (SWFs)

    Output AVI is uncompressed - causing HDD to thrash during recording. Output image was distorted (greyscale only, sliced due to missed stride) on first record (selected region). Error message that should have been silent ('no config found - creating") appeared at startup. Doesn't look like enough testing, or end user feedback has gone into the design. Could be good with a lot more work. I don't see how switching to c# helps anyone though (for next version).
