Calizo is a calendar with a zoomable timeline. Unlimited zooming allows to manage historic, genealogical, biographic data, everyday tasks, projects or life plans - for scheduling, genealogy, project management, todo lists, link- and file- organization.
Very unique! I find it very helpful.
There aren't really any programs available for timelines except for project management software and MIT's Simile project (which you have to manually edit the code to make timelines with). I have used Calizo before and was glad to find it still out there. There really is only one! I wish there was a better setup for printing, though -- I tried to change it to landscape but it didn't really seem to register. I think that's the only thing I would want to improve -- to make the printing and sharing, exporting features more robust so that it can be used as a timeline-creation software as well as a calendar. There are already so many calendars out there but not many timeline-creation softwares. Even if its functionality is still targeted as being a calendar, it couldn't hurt to give it that dual purpose... Anyway, thanks so much for the software and keep up the great work! :)
