CalcChecksum is a tool for calculating MD5, MD4, CRC32, SHA1 (SHA160), SHA256, RIPE-MD-160, TIGER, HAVAL (128, 160, 192, 224, 256 with 3, 4 or 5 passes) on files, text-strings or hash-lists generated by md5sum or sha1sum.

2004-01-17 VERSION 1.6-pre1 + added algorithm self-tests. ~ replaced CRC32 algorithm. ~ made MD4, HAVAL, RMD160, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384/512 and Tiger algorithms big-endian and 64-bit save (not tested, yet). ~ replaced MD5 algorithm. ~ improved hash-list type autodetection. + added another hash-list file-format. + added GnuPG signature verifying (if available) for hash-lists. + added "save-to-file" button to output window. + added a LED to show the global status of a list-calculation.
