Cleaned up some of the comments. Took out all unused functions.
Tried to make it a lot more generic. Renamed files and edited sources to get rid of any AEI Refs. Tried to include all necessary fuctions. Made all the layer fuctions work and integrated a lot of the stdlib project in that area.
So this little project was dead in the water for almost a year but it is going to start moving again. Last time I was hoping for a signifigant, colabrative project but this time out I don't really care if anyone pitches in. I'm just going to post what I am producing and see what happens. The first project is a block insert routine that is designed to run on A2k but will likely run on earlier versions and possibly Intellicad. The idea is pretty simple, a program that presents the user with a bunch of blocks that have default insert parameters. Some of the parameter that I have working are auto layering, auto rotation, predefined osnap, and auto scaling. Each parameter has a few different methods, for example layers can be predefined, matched to a line, current, or bring in a whole group of layers. Code is submitted under "The Inserter". The first release will not work as it sits, it is highly dependent on a preconfigured system. The point of that code is to be a starting point from which to work. It needs to first be cleaned up and assembled to an easy to install package. Some fundamental design issues need to be addressed, like naming conventions, structure, portability, flexability, etc... Release 1.0 will be the first working, easy to install version. I am not concerned with interface right now, it can be called easily from a slide menu, the next release will aim at a not-so-basic GUI. Thanks for listening, feel free to jump in, there is a lot to do.
