Bwmonitor Suite is a collection of programs (daemon, client, daemon configurator) that allow a user to view a subnet's bandwidth (inbound and outbound) usage to external hosts in realtime on a scaled plot based on user defined network sniffing rules.

first release....
Hi all, I have released the first version of the bwmonitor project so some of you may give her a rip. There is a couple of dependancies that you must be aware of. Daemon Application -libpcap: obtainable at http://www.tcpdump.org GUI Apps (bwmdconfig, bwmclient) -QT version 3.0 The official website, with all the documentation is not complete as of yet, but it should up a week or two after Christmas. Busy time of year :) Take care all, I hope to receive some comments and critisim. And yes there is a "to do list" :) ttul! dahunt

Screenshots now Available
In order to perk some interest in this project i have posted some screen shots of the client and daemon configuration GUI utilities. You can see them at the bwmonitor homepage at http://bwmonitor.sourceforge.net I'm still working on documentation for the project, as well as the project website. However expect to see changes at the project website over the next 3 weeks. I will do a final release of the project along with the necessary documentation as well. ttul later!
