A port of Linux B-Chat v.013 [by Arne Sagnes (asagnes@telocity.com)] to Windows via Visual Basic, and then maybe 1 or 2 features added. The original linux version can be found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/b-chat

Forgot to post this, new features actually introduced at the start of March. New version, v1.0.5 - allows you to the new X-Force v1.08 battle.net servers, and should interpret one of the new commands they have on it (just like a MOTD notice, etc.) Also, since v1.08 allows people other than battle.net to host a game server, it allows for user-defined servers to be used. Tried to get the code for a battle.net optimizer - but since the author wont give it to me, it'll be a while until battlechat can find the fastest server to chat on. All for now, from Kaneda (alias MdK) ICQ#49107701 Email: k_aneda@yahoo.com
The bug with the program not changing channels seems to work now. All that is left is to upload the setup file I have created
v1.0.4 (7-Feb-2001): Testing complete, channel change works Minor bugs fixed.
Nearly ready for pre-alpha release, but not ready just yet (lol :-) as it dosen't want to connect. All of the commands are in place, new recognition for ping from server (command 2000 NULL).
Okay, if anyone is reading this, I started the BattleChat client and are nearly finished for a pre-alpha, maybe a Alpha release, depending on how the program fares. It's currently undergoing testing against the Battle.Net Exodus server (Exodus.battle.net) and I'll place the results in the News column when finished.
