Since CamBA 2.2.0 uses exactly the same brainFX library as brainFX 2.1.0, there will be no BrainFX 2.2.0 release simply for the sake of syncrhonizing the version, instead, release 2.1.1 will be relabelled release 2.2.0/2.1.1
This version of BrainFX contains a slightly more advanced version of BrainFX used in CamBA 2.1.0 The difference here is the introduction of BrainFX's implementation of NifTI. They consists of two parts: a pure Java implementation (with no Eclipse dependency) in Eclipse plugin package org.brainfx.nifti.*, and a budding SWT UI for NifTI header data manipulation. The CamBA Nifti Library, i.e., org.brainfx.nifti.* is released under the General Public License v 3.0 or later, with the standard classpath exception. It is also decided that in the future, BrainFX's version number will be sync to that of CamBA Note: The core org.brainfx.nifti is in the directory org.brainfx.nifti/src. Sections org.brainfx.nifti.helpers and org.brainfx.nifti.testers are actually deprecated item and not part of the Nifti Library.
