Nope, we're not dead yet. I started working on a total rewrite some time ago. A new alpha version will be released as soon as it's ready. In the meanwhile, keep checking the CVS repository for updates.
I also decided to get rid of the silly underscore in the name. Future versions of the script will be released under the name 'borgxdcc'.
