Yes, you found the big caveat of the Boincoid design - to support full cross-"platformity", every application needs to be ported to Java. We've done this only for SETI, and recently the Rosetta team have helped and offered their (not usually open) code for porting to Java, in order to support Boincoid. Alas, the porting requires a lot of work, and no one has yet taken the challenge.

The initial idea was Rosetta instead of SETI, as it has IMHO a much greater impact on society, and we could dub the phrase "Number one cause of cancer in the world, is now looking for a cure" :)

A suggested quick fix is wrapping the existing application in some java-wrap. But unsure as to what that means for Android, and if at all possible at such ease.
