  • Followup: RE: Westwood?

bnetd emulates battle.net, implementing Westwood Online might as well be a seperate product, they're so different. I don't think there's any point in adding Westwood Online support.

  • problems w/ broodwar 1.10 & bnetd 0.4.25

having problems with connecting to my bnetd with broodwar 1.10 .. message is: bnet unable to properly identify your application version. i'm not sure i fully understand the version checking system.. can i get the checksum of 1.10 and enter that value in the bnetd conf files? has anyone else gotten 1.10 to work with bnetd 0.4.25 or cvs. feedback would be appreciated.

  • Multiuser Issue in Brood War 1.09?

I'm currently running the bnetd 0.4.26cvs build in windowsXP-Pro. The compiles worked fine and the server itself works perfectly with two players in a game. HOwever, once there are more than two players per game, the game lags horribly. Additionally, the problem is immediately diagnosable if two of the players can't see the text input from either player - either in game or in the pregame...

  • Followup: RE: Big problems with installing Bnetd on freeBSD

Err... Well, the configure script isn't working then, is it? You'll have to go through the config.in file and translate it by hand. Lines starting with . are formatting, and often you want to ignore lines that do not have an equals sign in them. The other lines are comments, and can help you when deciding what to fill in.
