I had the same problem. Just download the source package. You don't have to actually compile it. Just extract it and find 'bluepad' in the 'bluepad_pc" folder and run it. It works awesomely.

Same problem here. The python2.4-gtk2 package is not available in the Jaunty Jackalope software channels, it uses python-gtk2.
I've downloaded python2.4-gtk2 and tried to install it but it conflicts with python-gtk2...
Which makes me ask... How can we run it on our Ubuntu Jaunty systems?.

Debian unstable.
Ok, checked all the packages, everything required is installed, the required module is also loaded. My mobile is found and the following error appears when I press "Connect" -
$ ./bluepad
You are using GNOME
BluePadApplet.py:185: GtkWarning: Only 'activatable' widgets can be packed into the action area of a GtkDialog
self.wTree = gtk.glade.XML(self.gladefile)

Hi, I use Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 and the .deb package show this:
Error: The dependency is not satifiable: python2.4-gtk2
The package python2.4-gtk2 is deprecated in Ubuntu Jaunty, only versions before to Jaunty work:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=python2.4-gtk2.

Hi, I'm using kubuntu intrepid.
Your application works just fine (really!) except one minor but annoying bug with tray icon.
You can see it here: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dcq2p945_66q3b5xvhk
Both enclosed icons appear after starting of bluepad.
Don't you know why is it so?.

BluePad only works on Linux Systems, so no .exe file available.
Best regards.
