blaSTOR is a Microsoft Access database used to BLAST, store and analyze multiple nucleotide and protein sequences. It has an easy-to-use graphical interface that allows users to perform BLAST operations and organize their data quickly and effectively.

This was essentially a project to learn perl for the first time and while still using windows. There are much better solutions than trying to integrate perl calls into an Access database, so development on this project has stopped. I'd still like to see an easy-to-use stand-alone BLAST data manager that doesn't require a team of IT people or a server farm to use. It should install on a standard computer, be portable, and be accessible to those without programming experience. Hopefully I can work on one in the future.
