False alarms by McAfee and Norton's are not to be trusted. The fact that it has been stable for a few years without any legitimate complaints from antivirus programs is more an indication of a false alarm in the AV scanners than it is a reason to worry about safety. Besides, this thing is open source. Anybody can check the source code and see for themselves that this utility does exactly what is intended and no more. For those of you getting false alarms, get the Java version and use that until the antivirus developers find and fix their bugs.
WARNING - MIGHT NOT BE SAFE I downloaded and installed this (on Vista), and when I first tried to run it Norton Internet Security blocked it as a trojan horse. Also since it hasn't been updated in ages, I would be very wary of downloading this.
Awesome info must have for anyone interested in torrents or filesharing
good rip
