Bibus is a bibliographic database. It uses a MySQL or SQLite database to store references. It can directly insert references in OpenOffice.org and MS Word and generate the bibliographic index.

A very simple, very useful bibliographic software
I have used bibus for 2 years now. It works fine with openoffice 2 and 3 under Debian-linux and Ubuntu. The Medline import is really usefull. Previously I was using ReferenceManager .
