Sure it is an interesting collection of 2000+ year old desert tales, most of which are shared by Jews, Christians, and Muslims, however, that is all they are tales. These tales are used as rules and laws to control not just your thoughts,and body, but also tells other people what they can or cannot do with their own. It isn't your business or right to tell someone else what to do. If you really have a real desire to study and learn and understand the world (and beyond!), pick up a real text book. If you want to be able to make up your own mind on how things work, study things, even if you disagree with them. Don't just repeat and regurgitate what you hear in church. Use your own brain and question the world around you.
