This should probably end up in the configure script (and the additional -liconv dependency).

With bbpager 0.4.7, several headers are missing that are needed to compile on Solaris 10 with GCC 4.4.0. Remember to add -liconv to your CXXFLAGS and have gnu libiconv installed.
