I discovered that Alt-shift in my keymap (setxkbmap -layout 'us,cz(qwerty)' -option 'grp:alt_shift_toggle,numpad:microsoft') toggles the keymap (cz/us) when pressed (not when released as I would expect) and pressing alt-shift-tab therefore switches keymap, the shift is "eaten" and regular alt-tab is then received. I guess I'll have to fix my keymap instead.

Hi Martin, I can't duplicate this, even with your config file. Do you have numlock or scrolllock or capslock or something pressed?.

bbkeys is totally dependent on what blackbox offers, as far as on-screen presence. I do not believe that blackbox shows window icons in the window decorations or in any of the menus (or has the ability to do so), so most probably bbkeys won't be doing it either. That being said, if someone wants to contribute a patch to achieve this, I'll be more than happy to take a look at it...

The menu used to cycle windows (using nextwindow and prevwindow commands, usually bound to alt-tab and alt-shift-tab) show only window captions.
It would be nice if it could show also application icons before the captions too. This would help to find the window you want more quickly, especially if the list is long and the application you want to switch to uses some distinctive icon.

I have configured bbkeys to do alt-tabbing:
[keybindings] (begin keybindings)
[NextWindow] (Mod1-Tab)
[PrevWindow] (Mod1-Shift-Tab)
[end] (end keybindings)

When I hold alt and press tab, bbkeys shows window list and starts "alt-tabbing" (pressing tab while holding alt will move to next window in list) as expected.
