It compiles fine on my Slackware 12 system. Of course, I don't know if your changes compile, since the patches aren't there anymore...
Sourceforge is not supposed to delete patches, but maybe they had some system crash.

bbcticker seems to need a bit more work to get it to compile on a recent system (e.g. FC8). For the record, I'm pretty sure I originally attached the patches. Perhaps sf.net lost 'em?.

Ooops. Looks like my gnome2 port was rougher than I thought. ;-)
This patch fixes the automatic refresh functionality. Sorry.

This is a rough n' ready port to Gnome 2.x. It has been lightly tested. It links against gtk+-2.0, glib-2.0, gmodule-2.0 and gdk-2.0, and thereby uses Pango for text rendering.

This patch makes bbcticker launches gnome-moz-remote to view URLs, rather than mozilla.

the call to gtk_table_new on line ~400 segfaults. I'm linking against gtk+ 1.2.8.
