This is expected behaviour.
Bashish has no way of theming gnome-terminal except for manually selecting a pre-defined (gnome-terminal) profile, which for simplicity has the name changed to "[New Bashish Tab]" in the right click menu in gnome terminal. This must be done each time you open a new gnome-terminal window or tab.
It's an ugly and disturbing "feature", however disabling it makes...

I get this message every time i opened a terminal:
bashish: please select the profile [New Bashish Tab]
bashish: and press [RETURN]
It should probably be made clearer that its referring to gnome-terminals built in profiles as I had no clue until I poked around the source code a bit.
Selecting the profile doesn't stop the message appearing, it happens every time, I also set the default...
