Yes, that's the next step. Very strange. Maybe it can't find the version of Python you installed. That would cause there to be no log file as the bat file never gets to run the Python script that BBOS is. So;

run Start->Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt or Start->Run and then type "cmd" and hit enter

Once you have a prompt, change directories to where you installed BBOS. In my case I would run the below and hit enter

cd C:\Temp\BBOS\Downloaded\BBOS\bin

Next type "dir" and hit enter to view the files in the directory.

You should see the load scripts you are now familiar with.

type "loadRecentGames.bat" and hit enter. we should not see your error on the screen.
