hi, is it possible to **not** log traffic that is created by a specific port, or application? e.g. I don't want to log traffic that is created through samba..
I tried some things with the pcap filter option but somehow it either logs everything or nothing...
thanks in advance
Sharpner.

Would you please add the phphtdocs directory to the make install autobuild/autoconf configure. ${prefix}/share/doc/bandwidthd-${version}/phphtdocs seems like a logical place for it.

What would be the recommended practise for keeping records from BandwidthD? I would like to have an end of month or recurring date tally of bandwidth usage. When enabling log rotation monthly logs are meant to rotate every few weeks, is there any way to have this occur on a regular date instead? If not, would I just have to merge a few logs to extract the relevant data? Or should I just tar the...

Is there a way to configure bandwidthd to ignore local traffic (i.e. 192.168.1.100 <-> 192.168.1.101 would be ignored). This way I could track only the traffic going to/from my ISP.
Thanks,
Kevin.

Hey guys,
I'm having a problem working out how to work with the "Total Sent" Field.
What exactly is this field?
I have written a program, and I want to create a chart that takes the log for a period of a month and works out the Peak send rate for that period.
I need to know just how to do this, i'm having problems because I don't know EXACTLY what that total sent field is...
