• New Energy

  After a lengthy downtime thanks to my private life kicking in, I finally found the time to restart this project. After some consideration I decided to ditch Rails and use CakePHP instead. I'd still like to use Rails, but it's giving me too many problems I'd rather not deal with. As of this writing Avner is very much in prototype stage already, progressing towards beta.

• Started work

  The work on Avner is underway, albeit slowly. So far the database design has been pretty much decided and models and some controller stubs been made. The system already somewhat works in the Ruby console, so one could consider a proof-of-concept to be finished. :-3 Unfortunately life gets in my way too often, so I'll only be able to dedicate a few hours a week to the project. Already looking forward to the first beta though.

• Preparing and searching

  Hi! We're in the planning stages for Avner, which, as you can gather from the vague description, is a "cloud-based" household/living community financial management application. If you have any interest in seeing such an application developed and are willing to help out with some Rails/PHP/Adobe AIR coding or design stuff, please contact me. Eventually translators would be good to have as well. Well, back to planning, hope to have something more concrete to present soon. Cheers, Dav
