Auto Encryption is an extension to thunderbird to search your certificate database and find the emails you enter. If they are found and your able to encrypt the mail it enables encryption, otherwise it disables it.
Great extension! Thanks so much! Would love TB3 support when you get the chance :-)
need version for tb3
Ver 0.2rc1 -Added a function to enable encryption check each time we focus the window. We need to do this to insure that we have the correct encryption options. Ver 0.1.0.3b -Fixed a bug. When typing in multiple addresses only the last one counted. This was because I used the object as an index and the script didn't like that for some reason. After creating an numeric index it worked smooth. Ver 0.1.0.2b -Added some overloaded javascript functions to gray out the radiobutton in the account manager. -Added onload attribute that runs the check aswell. Now you could add and remove email addresses at your leasure and it seems to work well. Ver 0.1.0.1b -Added check if the identity has signing enabled and turns this option on when changing identity. Ver 0.1b -Changed so the rechecking of all emails occur more often. This is to insure there will be less inconsistancies. -Added a function to recheck all emails when the user changes identity. -Moved function from onkeyup to onchange for o so many reasons. -Added checks on the right account. -Added support for the format "Firstname Lastname <email>" -Added setting on account->security "Encrypt if certificate exists" -Added support to check if cert is available -Created sourceforge project -Added function to check if all emailaddresses is okay -Added an onkeyup event to the textarea to handle emailchecks. -Added icon for encrypted contact -Added button to change icon -Created project
