AtMail is an open source webmail client written in PHP. We aim to provide a elegant Ajax webmail client for existing IMAP mailservers, with less bloat and a focus on an intuitive, simple user interface.

We are proud to announce the second update to the AtMail Open-source edition, version 1.02. The open-source edition has received a welcomed response from the community seeking an improved Ajax Webmail client, and we value all our user feedback since we released the first edition in May 08. Extract the new version into your existing Atmail-open directory, then run http://yourserver.com/atmailopen/upgrade.php The upgrade.php script is located in the base atmailopen directory, and will update the local MySQL DB with the latest fields and update the Config.php file for the new release. Once run, the upgrade is now complete.
Fixed PHP dependency issue during installation. Solved Windows Winzip error on archive package, and added missing images from the original release.

An Open-source AtMail edition based on the Apache 2.0 license, which is provided as a lightweight Ajax Webmail client with a focus on usability and simplicity. The commercial version of AtMail will be further maintained and supported, and includes all the enhanced features such as Groupware, Calendaring, Advanced interface for IE/Firefox, POP3/maildir support, Mail-server edition, Webadmin, Outlook Synchronization and more. We have released the open source edition of AtMail to further promote the usage of AtMail, offer users looking for more an upgrade path to the commercial AtMail version, and provide the open-source community a fresh look at Ajax Webmail.
