AsterFax provides an Email to Fax gateway for Asterisk. AsterFax lets you send an email by Fax. Enter the phone no. in the 'To' address, compose your email message and click send. You can also fax a MS-Word document or other attachment.

1. DefaultFaxSubmitter enhanced to read Asterisk application name from configuration file. Default is RxFax for Asterisk versions prior to 1.6 running spandsp. For Asterisk 1.6 the application name is SendFax and should be set in the <Arguments> element of the DefaultFaxSubmitter. 2. Delivery receipts more detailed. 3. Fax file is not deleted until all recipients are sent an email where multiple recipients are specified.
