• New Development

  We have decided to freeze the current Project @ssistant development and create a new project (Enterprise Groupware System - EGS http://sourceforge.net/projects/egs) because of major changes that we wish to make to the underlying database. We will continue to fix bugs and support PA but no further functionality will be added to the system. Instead development will concentrate on the new project (EGS) with imediate effect. We have release the first version of EGS which has a superior contacts system and we would encourage users to download and try out. Many thanks the PA development team.

• Project @ssistant

  There has been a new minor release of Project @ssistant incorporating the delete functionality into the task module which was previously missing. This new release has no bug fixes only the new functionality.

• Project @ssistant 0.3

  This is the first stable release of Project @ssistant to be released. All users should upgrade to this release for the added functionality and bug fixes.

• Project @ssistant Release

  This is a new release of PA that fixes 2 major bugs that stopped the new projects module from functioning. There is a new database schema and code fix to the project module. All users should update to this version.

• Project @ssistant Second Release

  This is the second major release of Project @ssistant (PA) and fixes several bugs as well as the first release of the Project modules. PA is an online Customer Management and 'Paperless Office' written in PHP. Further information can be found on the project's website: http://assistant.sourceforge.net PA can be downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=60697 or checked out from cvs http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/assistant/assistant/ This l release of PA includes a contacts module, project module and admin module. The contacts module is similar to a traditional address book but has the added advantage of being able to handle more that one person per company unlike many existing systems. The project module allows resources and resource groups to be assigned to project tasks and multiple tasks per project. This release also includes a fully functional admin module allowing admins to assign access rights to groups and users. PA offers a layed access system which allows several 'Companies' to use the same system independantly of each other.
