I'd love to have this feature as well.
It'd make those late-night-i'm-not-thinking-quick-enough-to-make-sense-of-this-back_up-arRsync-mess-to-not-screw-it-up-in-the-morning backups, a lot less complex when caffeine levels are running on nil.

When backing up a volume into another, like a mounted volume onto a USB Flash memory it is possible to select the source as File Folder as source volume name (to backup all files in the volume), and /Volumes as source, and the destination as /Volumes/destination_volume_name. The problem is that in the destination volume the structure of the source volume is maintained inside a folder whose name...

I feel like the button schema for the whole Presets drawer is a little clunky. Maybe a instantaneous, single click, expedient approach would be more efficient. Along these same lines, I feel like replacing the '-' button with a 'Remove' button would provide more consistency in the Presets drawer interface. When I opened arRsync, I was expecting a Cyberduck-like interface, look for Cyberduck...

Hi,
syncronizing on a Mac is not an easy issue. I tried rsync, then unison and now I come back to rsync and your GUI. If I may suggest: For me it would be of utmost importance (since I do not trust myself telling arRsync to do the right thing) that I would see what rsync intends to do, then choose if I like rsync to do it before it does it.
Too complicated? Have a look at the GUI of unison...

I use your software in combination with macfuse so that I can mount ssh directory. I think it would be convenient to have automatically start and run a sync operation of ones choosing at a schedule-able intervals and also if this could run in the Background somehow w/o the program even loading in the Dock (... or at least hidden in which case it should quit automatically after it's performed it...

I would like a way to run this automatically when a drive is mounted.

The "File/Folder" listing should be a listbox rather than a sequence of edit fields.
