Archimedes will be a Computer Aided Design (CAD) program developed side by side with architecture offices in order to fulfill all their needs. This way, we hope to develop software better suited for architects than the currently widely used AutoCAD.

Openoffice or someone like that should take this source, add the needed features to make it workable, and add it to their suite. I would dump Windows completely for good because cad is the only thing keeping me on windows.

I have used several cad programs in my time and I think you are definitely on the right track. Keep up the good work with it and I will be back to check on it's progress.
