So much good stuff here: Arianne has an active community, developers who are passionate about what they do, oodles of documentation... all in all a great way to get into creating computer games.

Found this to be a great development project, brilliant introduction to software engineering. The number of tutorials on their wiki is just immense, haven't came across anything yet that they don't have a tutorial for, and the team on the IRC are very patient and helpful :)
