This add-in aims at extending the raster editing function of ArcMap 10.x. With the new Raster Editor toolbar, users are able to edit the raster layer simply by click-and-edit, just like what we can do with the feature layer. It is very suitable for minor modification of raster layers.

There is a bug about the SaveAs function. To protect your work, the safest way now is to save edits as a TIFF file first and export the file as other format you want with ArcMap. (see detail at wiki)

I must really give thanks to the programmer behind this tool. This is a functionality that has been sorely lacking from ArcGIS for many years, and has been frequently requested. It is such a basic, obvious functionality that it not being a built-in feature puzzles many. Although quite a simple add-in, it can save much frustration and possibly hours of work just to adjust/correct minor issues with raster layers. I'm very excited to see someone tackle this need in the GIS community!
