Yesterday, APT Editor 1.0.6 was released. This release offers small improvements including Problem Markers to point out formatting errors and better feedback when errors occur. Non-conform apt files should not go unnoticed anymore!
* Added support of problem markers * Improved feedback to let user know something is missing or went wrong
APT Editor 1.0.6 is currently in a test phase and will be available any time soon. It packs a few new features including "problem markers" and better feedback when the document is not valid. I'm looking forward to more feedback from users of APT Editor to aim for the features that will please the most of you! Let me know your thoughts!
Version 1.0.5 of APT Editor is available for download. There are some neat new features in this release: a preferences page which allows you to enable or disable the generation of a Table Of Content and the Sections Numbering, as well as specify your own style sheet (CSS) for increased control over the preview of your APT document. The web page (http://apteditor.sf.net) has been going through lots of changes in the last few days. I hope you find the newly added information useful. If you have comments or suggestions, do not hesitate to drop me a line in one of the forums or an email (although there isn't too many posts yet in the forums, don't worry, I check it often). Thanks for using APT Editor!
* Added support for style sheets (CSS) * Added a preferences page with options for: - Enable/disable table of content generation - Enable/disable sections numbering - Specify your own style sheet * Fixed a bug that prevented rendering of preview (View mode) under Linux
This version enables a lot of features that APTConvert offered but that were not supported by APTEditor so far. I'm currently working on a Preferences page that will offer more control over the formatting (stylesheets, some options, etc) and after that I will add an export wizard to export the document in other formats (RTF, PDF, DocBook, etc). Feel free to contact me for questions or comments.
