When looking for a certain application, 'application'-menus of desktop environments are always incomplete. This script aims to generate a list of ALL applications on your computer and parse it into a menu definition for fvwm2 and other window managers

HI I just submitted a new version of appmenu. This version features * Speedup of generating menu structure * Removed bug which mixed up order of menu items * 'Recent applications' menu for fvwm2 The script for now only supports fvwm2 and windowmaker, but adding support for your own window manager is quite easy. You have to know the format for menu definition files of your window manager though. Pleas let me know if you have added, or are interested in adding support for a new window manager.
28-03-2002: Updated .applist.in file, more kde and gnome applications are detected now.
This site is mainly to see if anyone is interested in such a script and to maybe hear new ideas. I have a first version of the script and will put it here in the course of next week. For now this only works with fvwm2.
