Apelon DTS

The DTS documentation recommends the iNet Sprinta JDBC driver when using Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Two questions:

Is that recommendation still valid with later versions of SQL Server? We're running SQL Server 2008 in development (with 2005 compatibility set).

Are the higher tiers of iNet JDBC driver supported? Specifically, iNet's site recommends their Merlia driver.
