• Linux script

  A version of Amplicon that has been run on SuSE linux 9.1 and Knoppix is now available. Tkinter is not as cross-platorm as it could be, so the fonts and some GUI settings have been changed from the Windows version. Future versions may need to be re-written for wxPython.

  A paper describing Amplicon has been published: Jarman, SN (2004) Amplicon: software for designing PCR primers on aligned DNA sequences. Bioinformatics 20: 1644-1645.
